Verdict in one line: 1Fichier is the cheapest premium of any major filehost and the only one with no download limit at all — $45 for a full year works out at $0.12 a day, less than a quarter of what Rapidgator or Keep2Share cost.
What makes 1Fichier different
1Fichier is a French hosting and cloud storage service running since 2009. Two things set it apart from every other host in this comparison.
First, premium has no download traffic cap. Not a large allowance — none. There is no daily reset to wait for, no rolling window to manage, no terabyte pool to spend. Every other major host meters you somehow; 1Fichier does not.
Second, it sells genuinely long terms. Multi-year subscriptions are normal rather than exotic, and the pricing rewards them steeply.
What a free account costs you
Free downloads are throttled to a crawl, allow one file at a time, and impose a wait between each. 1Fichier is otherwise unusually generous to free users — which is exactly why so many links point at it, and why the free download experience is the wall people hit.
What premium changes
- No download traffic limit. The headline feature.
- Maximum download speed, limited by your connection rather than theirs.
- No wait and no captcha between files.
- Parallel downloads and full download-manager support.
- Resumable transfers.
- Unlimited storage with no per-file size ceiling.
- Files kept indefinitely while the account stays premium, rather than expiring after inactivity.

The annual plan is not a close call
With no traffic variable, this reduces to cost per day — and the gap is stark. 365 days at $45 costs less than five separate 30-day plans. At $0.12 a day against $0.33, a full year costs roughly what four and a half months would at the monthly rate.
If you expect to use 1Fichier for more than about four months, buying anything other than the annual plan is leaving money on the table.
How 1Fichier compares
| Host | 30 days | 365 days | Cost per day (annual) | Traffic |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1Fichier | $10 | $45 | $0.12 | Unlimited |
| Rapidgator | $16 | $99 | $0.27 | 12 TB per term |
| FileJoker Standard | $25 | $145 | $0.40 | 60 GB / 5 days |
| Keep2Share PRO | $27 | $201 | $0.55 | 50 GB per day |
On paper this is not a contest. 1Fichier is less than half the price of its nearest rival on an annual basis and has no cap while all three others do. It is the best value premium in filehosting and it is not particularly close.
The catch is coverage. You cannot download a file from 1Fichier unless whoever uploaded it put it there, and for a lot of material — particularly large archive sets — Rapidgator has far wider reach. Value per dollar is only relevant once the files you want are actually on the host.
Buying direct, or buying a key
A reseller key is an official 1Fichier voucher code. You redeem it yourself on 1fichier.com against your own account. It is not a shared login and not a cracked account — once redeemed the account is premium exactly as though you had paid them directly.
For this host in particular, payment method is the usual reason people use a key. 1Fichier’s own checkout is restrictive for a lot of buyers, and a voucher bought with PayPal, USDT or Bitcoin sidesteps that entirely. A voucher also runs its term and stops, so there is no card sitting on file and nothing recurring.
Verdict
Buy it if your links point at 1Fichier, or you download very high volumes and want a host that will not meter you. The annual plan at $45 is the single best-value premium subscription in this market.
Buy the annual plan specifically unless you are certain you need less than four months. The monthly plan exists mainly for people testing the service.
It will not replace Rapidgator for most people. 1Fichier is cheaper and less restricted; Rapidgator has the links. Plenty of people end up holding both, and at $0.12 a day this is the easier of the two to justify.

1Fichier premium — frequently asked questions
Is there really no download limit?
Correct. 1Fichier premium has no traffic allowance to use up — no daily cap, no rolling window, no terabyte pool. It is the only major host in this comparison that works that way.
Which plan should I buy?
365 days at $45, unless you are confident you need less than about four months. A year costs less than five monthly plans.
Is 1Fichier cheaper than Rapidgator?
Considerably. $0.12 a day against $0.27 on the annual plans, and 1Fichier has no traffic cap where Rapidgator gives 12 TB. Rapidgator’s advantage is link coverage, not value.
Can I buy 1Fichier premium with PayPal?
Through an authorised reseller, yes, along with card, USDT and Bitcoin. Payment method is the most common reason people buy a 1Fichier key rather than paying the host directly.
Does premium affect files I upload?
Yes. Storage is unlimited, there is no per-file size ceiling, and files are kept for as long as the account remains premium rather than expiring after a period of inactivity.
Are reseller keys legitimate?
Official voucher codes from an authorised reseller are. You redeem them yourself against your own account. Avoid anything sold as a ready-made username and password.
Is 1Fichier safe to use?
It is a long-established French service that has been running since 2009 and is widely used for legitimate cloud storage as well as file sharing. As with any host, what matters is what you download, not the host itself.
Why is 1Fichier so much cheaper than everyone else?
Its pricing has always been aggressive relative to the rest of the market, and it leans on long subscription terms rather than high monthly rates. There is no catch in the premium features themselves — the limitation is which files happen to be hosted there.
