Verdict: The sensible middle. It captures most of the annual plan’s saving — $0.30 a day against $0.27 — without asking you to commit a full year to one file host.

Who this plan is for
Buy this if Rapidgator is part of your routine and you expect that to continue, but a year still feels like a long time to bet on any single host.
At half a year it is also the shortest plan where the per-day cost drops below a third of a dollar, which is where premium stops being a considered purchase and starts being background cost.
Is 6 TB enough?
Six terabytes over 180 days is roughly 230 GB a week, or 33 GB a day if spread evenly. Because it is a single pool rather than a daily cap, the real-world figure is more forgiving: a 400 GB weekend simply draws down the pool, and a quiet fortnight afterwards costs you nothing — the balance is still there when you need it.
For all but the heaviest users, 6 TB across six months means never thinking about traffic again.
How it compares to the other plans
Against 90 days / 4 TB: meaningfully cheaper on both measures — $0.30 vs $0.48 a day, $9.00 vs $10.75 per terabyte.
Against 365 days / 12 TB: the annual plan is cheaper still at $0.27 a day and $8.25 per terabyte, but the gap has narrowed a lot by this point. Most of the available saving is already captured here. The remaining question is commitment, not value.
| Plan | Price | Per day | Per TB |

What you get
- Maximum download speed — your connection is the limit, not Rapidgator’s.
- No waiting and no captcha between files.
- Parallel downloads and full JDownloader / IDM support.
- Resumable transfers, so a dropped connection costs seconds rather than the file.
- 6 TB of traffic across the whole 180-day term, not a monthly reset.
Frequently asked questions
Is this better value than the annual plan?
Not quite — the annual plan is cheaper on both per-day and per-terabyte. But the gap is small by this point, and this plan asks for half the commitment.
What happens at the end of 180 days?
Nothing automatic. A voucher runs its term and stops. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel.
Can I extend it later?
Yes. Redeem another voucher while this one is still active and the new term is added to the end of it.
